Should I grade it?

Grading costs money and the grade isn't guaranteed. Put in the numbers and see whether grading is likely to pay for itself compared with selling the card raw.

How to fill this in

  • Graded prices: use the eBay sold-listing links to see what this card has actually sold for at PSA 10 and PSA 9. Ignore unsold asking prices.
  • Grading fee: check the grading company's current price list. Fees depend on the card's value and how fast you want it back.
  • Shipping: include postage both ways and insurance.
  • Selling fees: marketplace and payment fees, as a percentage of the sale price. Check your marketplace's current rate.

Be honest about the grade. Most cards don't come back a 10, and the gap between a 10 and a 9 is often large. Our condition grading guide explains how to judge a card before you send it.
